Delta introduces a contemporary styled electronic metering faucet to its commercial offering of products. This clean lined faucet is ideal for installations where a metering type product is required in addition to great design.

This electronic version of a mechanical self-closing faucet is operated by lightly touching the button that is integrated into the end of the spout. The water turns off automatically after the factory set 8-second flow time or the user can touch the spout again to stop the flow of water.  The technology used to activate the flow of water is a long standing technology that is both durable and reliable for public facility installations. The unit comes standard as battery but also has an option for hardwire by ordering a converter. Cold or pre-mixed water supplies can be used for installation.

The DEMD 800 Electronic Lavatory Metering Faucet flows at 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) providing 32 percent water savings* and contributing to LEED certification.  The factory pre-set for each use is 8 seconds which means that a modest 0.2 gallons per cycle is used on the average hand wash.
